Summer

Especially in summer there are many possibilities to spent a fabulous time at Katschberg.

At the family mountain Katschberg you are in good hands as their slogan is: You are able to do everything without a lot of effort. For horse lovers the Katschberg offers a alpine horse center with boxes where you can accommodate your own horse.

On the Lungauer and the Carinthian side you will find beautiful nature spots, the nature reserve Pöllatal is especially well known and also called the valley of 1000 Orchids. 

This valley is also a very suitable attraction for children as there are no cars allowed and you can only reach it via a special train called "Tschu-Tschu-Bahn", by foot or with the bicycle.


During the summer month there are also many tradtional mountain huts where you can stop for snacks and enjoy a cosy atmosphere.
